From its earliest years, Jurinflot developed into one of the leading centres of maritime law expertise.

For decades, Jurinflot lawyers played an active role in shaping the legal framework governing the maritime industry in Russia.
The firm’s lawyers were among the experts involved in drafting the current Merchant Shipping Code of the Russian Federation and subsequent amendments to it.
They also participated in the drafting of legislation related to the implementation of the Sakhalin-2 Production Sharing Agreement project and a number of other Russian sub-legislative acts in the field of shipping.
Jurinflot was reorganised as a joint venture with international Protection and Indemnity Clubs.
This enabled the firm to incorporate leading international practices in maritime law and marine insurance into its work.
The Jurinflot brand was bought-out by the firm’s team. Therefrom, Jurinflot continued its practice as an independent law firm in association with the Mosyurcentr Advocates’ Collegium.
As the new law amended organisation of the legal profession in Russia was adopted, Jurinflot changed its organisational form, acquiring the status of an advocates’ bureau (lawyers’ partnership), while preserving its institutional continuity, accumulated expertise and specialisation in maritime law.
